UN Volunteers Programme(UNV) is has served as a bridge between the UN, civil society and governments. We have been working for more than 45 years in over 140 countries to foster innovation and collaboration. We have been an invaluable resource for volunteers from the global South. UNV has developed strong relationships with UN partner entities to deploy global citizens as UN Volunteers and effectively integrate volunteerism in UN system programming.
Currently UNV Bangladesh set up a UNV Innovation Lab to move beyond co-designing towards impactful resources mobilization to reposition youth and volunteerism at the center of effective Partnerships for Development. Stay tuned for further information!
